It started with a simple question in 2019: Why should finding the right everyday products feel like searching for a needle in a haystack?
Two friends—one who'd spent years frustrated by endless scrolling through massive marketplaces, another who believed shopping should feel less like a chore and more like discovery—sat down with laptops, determination, and way too much coffee. They didn't want to build just another online store. They wanted to create a place where quality met variety, where customers could find what they needed without the overwhelm.
Lumelo was born.
The name itself was carefully chosen—a blend of "lume" (light) and the warmth of connection. We wanted to be the light that guides you to exactly what you're looking for, whether that's the perfect beauty essential, a toy that brings joy to your child's face, or a home decor piece that finally completes your living room.
The Early Days (2019-2020)
Our first year was humble. We launched with just three product categories and a promise: every item we sell must be something we'd confidently give to our own families.
As a trading company, we knew our success depended on finding the right partners. We spent months vetting suppliers, building relationships with manufacturers who shared our commitment to quality. We worked late nights responding to every single customer email (yes, every single one). Our first 100 orders felt like winning the lottery. We remember those early days in our small warehouse, personally packing each box, triple-checking every item, making sure each order met our standards.

Growing Together (2021-2022)
